ANSWER · Dimraeth

Dimraeth release time: 16 September in Asia/Shanghai, and the countdown that got it wrong

Dimraeth unlocked at 00:00 on Wednesday 16 September 2026 in Asia/Shanghai. The Steam release field, the countdown and the developer's posts point at different hours; here is which one is right.

Early accessPC

Answer: Dimraeth unlocked at 18:00 CEST on Tuesday 15 September 2026, which is 00:00 on Wednesday 16 September in Asia/Shanghai, so this site publishes 16 September 2026. The Steam release field still reads "Sep 15, 2026" and the store countdown pointed at an earlier hour.

The short version

Dimraeth went into Steam Early Access at 18:00 CEST on Tuesday 15 September 2026. That is 00:00 on Wednesday 16 September in Asia/Shanghai, so this site publishes 16 September 2026 as the unlock day. The Steam release field and the store blurb both still say 15 September because they are written for a US/European reading of the same instant.

The developer's own release-hours post

The clearest source is the announcement titled "Dimraeth launches Tuesday, September 15 at 18:00 CEST", published on 14 September 2026 in Asia/Shanghai (13 September in UTC). It gives the full local list: "Tokyo: 01:00, Wednesday Sept 16", "Seoul: 01:00, Wednesday Sept 16", "Shanghai: 00:00, Wednesday Sept 16", "Berlin: 18:00, Tuesday Sept 15", "London: 17:00, Tuesday Sept 15", "New York City: 12:00, Tuesday Sept 15". The same post adds that "The times above are correct, and the game will unlock at 18:00 CEST as planned." The headline and the Shanghai line agree with each other: the 15 September in the title is the European calendar day, and the Shanghai line is 00:00 on the 16th.

The pinned Early Access FAQ answers the same question a different way. Asked "When is the game coming out?", the developer answers "September 15th at 16:00 UTC". That is the identical instant, because 16:00 UTC on 15 September is 00:00 on 16 September in Asia/Shanghai. Two official sources, one unlock.

The store countdown was wrong, and the developer said so

Before launch, the store page carried an hourly countdown that pointed at an earlier time than the real unlock. The release-hours post warns about it directly: "You may see a countdown on the store page pointing to an earlier time. That is a scheduling hiccup on our end that we are getting sorted. The times above are correct." A pinned thread in the game's own discussions, titled "Current Issue: Countdown Timer is Incorrect", says the same thing and links the release-hours post as the correct source: "We currently have a ticket with Steam on this but the hourly countdown on the steam page is incorrect." If you remember a different hour on the store page, that is why, and the developer published the correction rather than leaving it to the players to work out.

What the store page still shows

Two things on the store page were never updated after launch, and both still say 15 September. The US-English release field reads "Sep 15, 2026". The store blurb still reads "Dimraeth is in active development toward Early Access Release on September 15th 2026", which was written while the game was still unreleased. The Steam release field is a fixed per-app string aimed at a US-facing reader, so it records the European/UTC calendar day of the unlock; the blurb was simply never revised.

Neither of those is a second release. The developer's release-hours post and the Early Access FAQ describe one unlock, at one instant, from one publisher, and this site follows the Asia/Shanghai reading of it.

What to take away

  • If you are in Asia/Shanghai, the game became playable at 00:00 on Wednesday 16 September 2026.
  • If you are in Berlin or London, that was 18:00 and 17:00 on Tuesday 15 September 2026.
  • The store countdown you may have seen before launch pointed at the wrong hour, and the developer confirmed it in public.
  • The store's own "September 15th 2026" copy is the US/European calendar day of the same unlock, not a second date.
