The short version

Dimraeth entered Steam Early Access at $19.79 with an opening discount, against a $21.99 standard price, and that discount has since ended: the store lists $21.99 with no discount applied. The Early Access build is a real slice of the game rather than a demo-sized prologue. It ships three races and three classes, the Act I story across three chapters, a level cap of 25 for Act I, and roughly 12-15 hours of story, followed by a repeatable endgame.

The price

The Early Access FAQ is explicit about the launch price: "How much will the game be at launch? It will be 19.79 USD with the opening discount (21.99 standard) and then use default steam regional pricing." So $19.79 was the discounted launch figure and $21.99 is the standard price it returns to, with Steam's own regional pricing after that.

As read on 21 October 2026, the store and the store API both show $21.99 with no discount percentage, and the purchase panel lists a single "Dimraeth - $21.99" option. The opening discount is over. If you are seeing a different regional price, that is Steam's default regional pricing rather than a second promotion.

What is in the Early Access build

The Early Access launch post lists what shipped: three races and classes, "(Elf, Minotaur and Human) and (Shadow, Mage and Brawler)"; the Act 1 story, "which develops over 3 chapters"; new content covering "Pets, Elites and Major Bosses, More Building, New Equipment, Skill Tree Overhaul, Difficulty levels and more"; "A level cap of 25"; and for the endgame "a repeatable deed system with progressive difficulties".

The FAQ fills in the size: "At EA there is about 12-15 hours of story content with end game repeatable content past that." The level cap is Act I specific — the FAQ says "level 25 is the max level for Act I" — and the September content post says the cap "will be increased with each new act".

The same content post lists what came with the Early Access update specifically: a new race, the elf; a new class, the shadow; two new regions, the expanded Wildwood forest and the Goblin Caves; major world bosses for each region; nine new pets with different abilities; and "male/female options for every race, furniture, equipment sets, crafting stations, base building options, quests/NPCs, new elites, new dungeons, difficulty levels, skill tree overhaul, improved character customisation".

The store page describes the finished game, not the Early Access build

This is the single most common point of confusion on the Dimraeth store page. The store blurb says "Build your hero across 8 races and 6 classes", and the About text says you can "Combine any of eight races with any of six classes to create 48 distinct Archetypes". That is the full-game target, and 8 × 6 is 48, so the store page is internally consistent — it is just describing where the game is going.

What is playable today is 3 races and 3 classes. The FAQ answers "How many races and classes will the game have?" with "There are 3 races (minotaur, elf and human) and 3 classes (shadow, mage and brawler)". The roadmap it describes is "the update schedule of 2 new race/class updates and then the Act II planned story update", so the remaining five races and three classes are part of the published plan rather than a guess.

The endgame and the roadmap

Past the end of the Act I story, the FAQ describes the guild hall: "After finishing the end of the Act I story the guild-hall has repeatable dungeons and bosses with special loot drops." The launch post calls the same system "a repeatable deed system with progressive difficulties", so the loop after the story is repeatable content that gets harder, not a finished ending.

No microtransactions, and no demo

Two things the FAQ settles outright. Microtransactions: "Will the game have any microtransactions? No." And the demo is gone. The July announcement said the demo would be taken down, "on July 15th we'll be taking it down for at least the near future", and that if the demo returns it "would likely need to be rebuilt quite a bit from how it is currently". The store no longer lists a demo for Dimraeth, so there is no demo product to download today.

Where these numbers come from

Everything on this page is what Mudtek published: the store page and store API for the current price and requirements, the Early Access FAQ for the launch price, content length, races and classes, and the dedicated-server and couch co-op answers, the Early Access launch post for the shipped content, the content and localisation post for the Early Access additions, and the July announcement for the demo withdrawal. We did not play the build, so the character counts, the level cap and the hours of story are the publisher's own figures, not a session report.

For the unlock hour and the countdown that pointed at the wrong time, see the release time page. For requirements, languages and the co-op hosting model, see the Dimraeth hub.
