Permafrost is a single-player and online co-op survival sandbox built around a frozen world. Players explore, gather, craft, repair and build shelter, and a dog companion is part of the core loop. The current status is unreleased; the Steam store page lists 9 October 2026 as a planned Early Access date for the US-English store. The developer has stated that Early Access is planned to last at least twelve months; no PS5, Xbox or Switch release has been confirmed by the developer's store page.
