ReleasedPC

The official description places the festival in Japan, with more than 550 cars, a tourist-to-Legend campaign, customizable homes and garages, and collaborative event creation. Overview checked

Forza Horizon 6 campaign, multiplayer and CoLab

Campaign progression

The official overview starts the player as a tourist. Discover Japan and use the Collection Journal, qualify through the Horizon Invitational, then earn Wristbands as the campaign advances. Legend status grants access to Legend Island. These are described progression milestones, not a tested fastest route or a list of unlock requirements.

Racing with other players

The store names Time Attack Circuits, Drag Meets, Car Meets, co-op LINK skills and Spec Racing Championships. It also names The Eliminator and Hide & Seek. A feature list does not establish the exact current event rotation or matchmaking rules.

The official campaign begins with a tourist proving their ability in the Horizon Invitational, then earning Wristbands toward Horizon Legend status. Exploration feeds a Collection Journal; the publisher describes Legend Island as a later destination.

Homes have customizable garages, and an Estate supports building in a mountain valley. CoLab extends EventLab with multiplayer building; the advertised activities also include Car Meets, Time Attack, Drag Meets and Spec Racing. The publisher advertises more than 550 real-world cars, but that is not a verified current roster or tuning guide.

Platforms, play modes and input

The current Steam record advertises Windows. This describes the Steam edition, not every storefront or console release.

Xbox account, Windows edition, storage vs download and languages

Xbox Live account required

Forza Horizon 6 requires an Xbox Live account, and linking it to Steam is supported. That is the published account requirement; other account or cross-store entitlements have not been verified here.

Single-player, online PvP, online co-op, HDR

The category badges list Single-player, Online PvP, Online Co-op and HDR. Cross-Platform Multiplayer specifics are not detailed by this read — do not assume a particular console pairing or cross-progression rule.

Windows 10 22H2 (version 19045) or newer

Both the minimum and recommended tiers ask for Windows 10 22H2 (version 19045) or higher. The storage line shows 167 GB free space with an SSD required. The 167 GB number is the storage requirement, not the download size — keep the two separate.

Languages in the visible table

The visible first rows show English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Italian each ticked for full audio. French shows interface and subtitles only. Treat these rows as the table on this Steam page, not as a complete list.

October Playlist and expansion ownership

When did Forza Horizon 6 come out, and how much is it?

Steam lists the standard edition at US $69.99 with no active discount at the time of the read, and the standard edition launched on 19 May 2026 in Asia/Shanghai, which the US-facing Steam field renders as 18 May 2026. That is the standard-edition date, not the first one: press coverage dated 19 May described the game as "following the Forza Horizon 6 early access release last week" with the standard edition "now ... available", so Early Access ran the week before. An 8 October reading of the same page showed 19 May, and this site's own per-platform record for Steam Windows keeps 19 May 2026, because this site publishes the Asia/Shanghai launch day. The listed languages are 23 interface entries, with English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish-Spain, Japanese, Korean and several others marked for full audio. The first Premium Expansion is scheduled for Steam on 21 January 2027.

What Forza Horizon 6 players are asking

These are real questions players asked in the game's own Steam discussions, re-checked against the thread on 21 October 2026. The thread link for each one is in this section's sources. Where the developer has published an answer it is linked; where they have not, the question is left open rather than guessed at.

  • "most of the videos are about online, is it fun solo?" — asked in the Steam thread is this game fun singleplayer?*; intent: Decide whether Forza Horizon 6 is worth buying for solo play.
  • "No PS5 controller support no buy!" — asked in the Steam thread No PS5 controller support no buy!*; intent: Check whether PS5/PS4 controllers work on the PC version.
  • "Now the question is... is this a Forza matchmaking bug or some kind of cheat?" — asked in the Steam thread S2 class in C class lobby... bug or cheat?*; intent: Understand a class-mismatch in online matchmaking.
  • "you cannot sort or filter liveries, which means you cannot sort liveries by car" — asked in the Steam thread The Livery Design (My Designs) manager / menu is literally unusable and peak annoying*; intent: Manage a large livery library without hitting the cap.
  • "They look so awful and pixelated even on DLSS quality. Some of the worst I've seen in any game but they don't seem to want to fix it." — asked in the Steam thread Particle effects only look good with DLAA*; intent: Fix bad-looking particle effects on PC.
  • "Side ramming is still a massive problem" — asked in the Steam thread Hey Playground Devs, what action are you taking on side ramming and fraud?*; intent: Find out the anti-cheat and anti-ramming response.

We could not read a search-volume source for any of these, so this list shows that the questions were really asked, not how many people search them.
