The PlayStation PC page lists four tiers — Minimum 1080p/30 Low on i7-4790K/R5 1500X, 8GB, 1050 Ti/RX 470, 100GB HDD; Recommended 1080p/60 Medium on i7-9700K/R7 3700X, 16GB, RTX 2060/RX 6600 XT, 100GB SSD; Performance 1440p/60 High on i5-12600K/5800X3D, 16GB, RTX 3070/RX 6800; Ultra 4K/60 Very High on 16GB with RTX 4070 Ti/RX 7900 XTX. All four run on Windows 10 64-bit.

Before using a target
Compare CPU, GPU, memory and drive together. The publisher's PC page was read on 9 October 2026 but does not label these tiers with a patch. These publisher targets are not our benchmark results, current download sizes, latency promises or console performance claims. Updated installed-space requirements need a separate current check.
The current Steam requirements, read on 11 October 2026, list 135 GB in the minimum column and 40 GB in the recommended column. The earlier PlayStation hardware chart lists 100 GB. These official sources disagree; the figures are not interchangeable and none is our measurement of installed size. Check the current Steam client before allocating drive space.
Stratagems and the Galactic War
Squads of up to four Helldivers take strategic missions with friendly fire. The store describes weapons, armor and stratagems as different approaches to combat rather than a single mandatory loadout. Requisition unlocks rewards for the squad and its destroyer.
Planet captures, defenses and mission completions contribute to the shared Galactic War. This overview does not assert the current order, enemy balance or best stratagem set. Consult dated official updates and the existing field notes before treating older advice as current.

Scope of Authority: announced equipment and unlock conditions
Arrowhead's 13 October announcement schedules Scope of Authority for 20 October. Unlocking the Premium Warbond requires the base game, Super Credits and game progression. The announcement is not proof that it is already available: check the in-game listing before spending credits. For a failed squad return, read the 7.1.0 reinforcement bug checkpoint.
What the store lists today for HELLDIVERS 2
Re-read 21 October 2026: the listed US price is $39.99 and the listing names 14 interface languages with 9 of them marked for full audio. The newest official post is version 7.2.0, dated 20 October 2026, and its headline change is that Super Earth has implemented Easy Anti-Cheat with additional security tools, alongside the Scope of Authority warbond and weapon and stratagem improvements. That anti-cheat introduction is the version fact most likely to change what a player experiences, and this zone records it as the developer stated it rather than as a performance or compatibility result. The US-facing Steam release field reads 8 February 2024, which is also the Asia/Shanghai launch day for this title.
